I would like to express to all a safe and happy holiday. I recieved an email x-mas card from Scott Keasey with the Disc Golf Association, and it said that all year we disc golfers work on our game and ways to propell the sport and it is important to take a break to reflect a little about our lives and our families and our friends. I agree, life is short and alot is taken for granted. I have been blessed with finding this sport I love, and the people that I have come in contact with that are also involved with disc golf are the best group of people I could hope to be associated with. And when the tour starts I am sure that I will meet about 20,000 more of them. Thank you all and God bless. Alan”upshot”Brown

The PDGA has accepted the PLAY EM ALL TOUR proposal. The tour and the PDGA are going to work together to improve the ability of disc golfers to enjoy our sport. This assistance from the PDGA is crucial to the success of the tour. And I would like to thank all of those involved in the decision to endorse, advise and to sponsor the tour, Specifically Brian Graham and Dan Roddick. Coming to a course near you, very soon! Peace…upshot

This picture is of two great people that I met at the GDS TOUR event in Tucson on December 9th,2007. The young man on the left is Adam Smith who is active military and has done two tours overseas. The first was in Kuwait in 2002-03. The second was in Iraq in 2004-05. This was Adam’s first tourmament and he got first place in the Recreational Division. I would like to thank him for his service to our country. The gentleman to the right in the picture is his father, Carl Wamsley from San Angelo,Tx. YeeHa! Carl is the president of the Concho Valley Disc Golf Association and a fine disc golfer. I played a round in the tournament with Carl and mentioned the PLAY EM ALL TOUR and he was stoked about it! Carl says the disc golf scene in San Angelo is awesome and if you are ever in the area, hit him up at www.conchovalleydiscgolf.org. He also is going to support the PLAY EM ALL TOUR by putting me up when I get to his neck of the woods. Thanks Carl!
